Shiba Inu token reserves hit 80.5 trillion as burn rate slows
Data from on‑chain analytics show that Shiba Inu (SHIB) exchange reserves have risen to roughly 80.5 trillion tokens, with more than 959 billion moved to trading platforms in recent weeks. The token is trading near $0.0000045, below several short‑term moving averages, indicating continued price pressure.
At the same time, the Shibburn tracker reported that 2.34 million SHIB were burned in the past 24 hours, a 5.98% decline in the daily burn rate. Over the last week 35.3 million tokens were destroyed, down 21.77%, and the 30‑day total fell 12.58% to 110.45 million burned. The slowdown in token burns coincides with broader weakness in the cryptocurrency market, where most assets are in the red and investors are waiting for upcoming US inflation data such as the PCE price index.
The combination of rising exchange reserves and a diminishing burn rate is being watched by the community for its potential impact on SHIB’s supply dynamics and short‑term price movements.
