Shiba Inu whale sells billions of tokens while still holding 16% of supply

An early investor in the Shiba Inu (SHIB) meme token, who bought 103 trillion SHIB in 2020 for about $13,700, has sold roughly 3.8 trillion SHIB in the past month, valued at around $20.7 million. The wallet still holds about 96.27 trillion SHIB—approximately 16.3 % of the total supply—worth roughly $457 million at current prices. During the same period SHIB’s price fell 14.5 % and remains about 94.7 % below its all‑time high.

India leads the world in the number of SHIB holders, followed by the United States and Indonesia. The token remains the most traded cryptocurrency on India’s WazirX exchange, though trading activity has stalled and many investors are holding positions at a loss as the token’s price continues to decline.
