Shibal wins Best Short Film at Gramado Film Festival

The short film ‘Shibal’, written and directed by João Rubio Rubinato, won the Kikito for Best Short Film at the 54th Gramado Film Festival. Produced by Enzo Celulari, the production was filmed on 16 mm in the Bom Retiro neighborhood of São Paulo and follows a day in the life of an engraver.

Other notable winners in the short film competition include Wesley Gabriel Silva Santos, who received the Kikito for Best Direction for ‘Pão Doce’. Francisco Gaspar won Best Actor for his performance in ‘Pão Doce’, while Cris Couto was awarded Best Actress for ‘Um Passeio’.
