Shiga University holds training for young staff members
Shiga University held a training session for young staff members at its Hikone Campus on August 19. The program included 13 junior staff members and focused on the evolving role of national university employees amidst social structural changes and population decline.
The training featured lectures by Director Tsutomu Miyakawa on the changing environment for national universities, and Kounami Numata on the importance of faculty-staff collaboration. Additionally, Vice President Professor Akiaki Tokuda led a session titled ‘Thinking about the Ideal State of Shiga University in 2040,’ where participants engaged in group discussions to propose future visions for the institution.
