Shiho Kuwaki wins Miyagi TV Cup Dunlop Ladies Open

Shiho Kuwaki secured her seventh career victory, including overseas majors, at the 53rd Miyagi TV Cup Dunlop Ladies Open Golf Tournament. Held at Rifu Golf Club in Miyagi Prefecture from September 25 to 27, Kuwaki entered the final day tied for second place.

She finished the final round with a score of 68, featuring seven birdies and three bogeys, resulting in a total of 12 under par. Kuwaki attributed her success to the recent introduction of Bridgestone ‘B-Limited BX TOUR MAX’ clubs, which provided the confidence needed to complete her swings. She noted that despite tough conditions and rain, she was able to maintain focus on every shot.

In addition to Kuwaki's win, other sponsored players performed well, with Eri Fukuyama tying for third and Miku Hamasaki tying for sixth. Separately, Hikaru Yoshimoto secured her third Step Up Tour victory at the Chugoku Shimbun Chupy Ladies Cup in Hiroshima.
