Shiiba Village hosts autumn rice harvesting experience tour

Shiiba Village in Japan is hosting a two-day autumn rice harvesting experience tour designed to support local farmers and showcase mountain village life. The tour includes participating in rice harvesting using traditional sickles, learning about rice drying techniques, and enjoying local seasonal cuisine.

Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the Tokonegawa traditional architecture district. The program is scheduled for September 26–27, offering an immersive look at the food and culture of the region, which is known as one of Japan's three major hidden regions.
