Shikar film crew stranded in Nepal amid devastating floods

The cast and crew of the upcoming Bangladeshi film ‘Shikar’ are stranded in Nepal following devastating floods and landslides that have disrupted road and air travel across the country. The production team, which includes Bangladeshi actress Apu Biswas and Indian actors Kharaj Mukherjee and Rajatabha Dutta, was filming in areas including the Rasuwa district and Pokhara.

Apu Biswas has reassured fans via social media that the entire team is safe and in good health despite the worsening weather conditions. Similarly, Kharaj Mukherjee’s son, Tamaghna Mukherjee, released a video confirming that his parents are out of danger, noting that while their filming schedule and return journey to India have been delayed by heavy rainfall, they are located at a distance from the most severely affected regions.

The natural disaster in Nepal has resulted in at least 162 deaths and left hundreds of people missing. The heavy rainfall has caused mountain rivers to swell, damaging critical infrastructure such as roads and bridges, which has brought filming to a halt and complicated evacuation efforts.
