Shikohabad railway station train coach fire in Uttar Pradesh

A fire broke out in a stationary train coach at the Shikohabad railway station in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday. The blaze caused thick smoke to rise from the premises and engulfed the affected coach in flames.

Rescue and firefighting operations were immediately launched to bring the fire under control. As a precautionary measure to prevent the flames from spreading, other coaches were separated from the burning unit. An eyewitness, Maya Devi Verma, reported seeing smoke coming from the coach and alerted others to the danger. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
