Shimane Prefecture launches tourism campaign tied to VIVANT drama
Shimane Prefecture is launching a tourism promotion campaign leveraging the TBS Sunday Theater drama “VIVANT” to attract visitors. The initiative includes large-scale advertisements at Shinjuku Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and a special stamp rally within the prefecture. Due to high demand, the stamp rally is resuming on October 10 with new rewards, including original stickers and clear files.
In Tokyo, the Hibiya Shimane Kan antenna shop is hosting a campaign where visitors can receive original goods by using secret passwords found in promotional materials. Additionally, lottery prizes including accommodation vouchers for filming locations are being offered.
Behind the scenes of the production, a documentary series titled “VIVANT-Adventure Log-” (V_Log) is being released on TVer. Directed by Shin Yamamoto, the series provides a year-long look at the filming process, capturing the challenges of international locations, technical innovations like large-scale LED sets, and the collaborative efforts of the cast and crew.
