Shimano expands Antourage 3.0 eging lure lineup with new colors

Shimano has expanded its Antourage 3.0 and Antourage 3.0 Flash Boost line, which are specialized lures designed for tip eging. The expansion introduces four new colors featuring red and green tape bases, supervised by instructor Jun Tomidokoro.

The new color options include Akate Purple, Akate Green, Midote Purple, and Midote Zebra. According to Tomidokoro, the red tape colors are intended to provide a more subtle visual appeal in deep water or during periods when fish are less active, while the green tape colors are designed to increase visual stimulation when standard colors fail to elicit a reaction.

The Antourage 3.0 series features a stabilizer fin to ensure a stable fall and minimize line trouble during jerking motions. Despite its compact size, the lure is equipped with large hooks comparable to the 3.5 size model to improve hooking rates for larger squid. The Flash Boost models include an internal mirror plate that creates light reflections to attract prey even when the lure is stationary.
