Shimizu Town hosts 8th Garlic and Meat Festival

The 8th Tokachi Shimizu Garlic and Meat Festival was held on October 3 at the Hokuren Shimizu Sugar Factory grounds in Shimizu Town. The event, organized by the town and JA, aims to promote the region's garlic and Tokachi Wakagyu beef.

Attendees enjoyed various dishes, including garlic ajillo and beef-based items like pizza and steak, provided by approximately 30 food trucks and stalls. The venue featured about 400 grilling stations where families could cook the local specialties.
