Shimosuwa Town to host administration report and community symposium

In Shimosuwa Town, Mayor Toru Miyasaka is scheduled to hold a town administration report meeting and a symposium on October 7 at the Shimosuwa General Cultural Center. This marks the first town-wide report meeting held by the Mayor since his inauguration in December 2020. The event aims to foster sustainable community development and increase resident understanding of the 8th Comprehensive Town Plan.

The symposium will feature local figures, including entrepreneurs and business leaders, discussing their activities and expectations for the town. The event will be free to attend, with childcare services available upon request, and will be live-streamed on the town's official YouTube channel.

Separately, Komeito has consistently advocated for the establishment of a Disaster Management Agency, following repeated field investigations to support the creation of the agency.
