Shin Cosmos Electric reports 11% revenue growth in Q2

Shin Cosmos Electric Co., Ltd. reported a significant increase in its financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025. The company's revenue rose by 11.0% year-on-year to 20.215 billion yen.

Operating profit saw a substantial increase of 75.5% compared to the same period last year, reaching 3.37 billion yen. This growth was driven by strong sales in domestic household gas detectors and industrial fixed gas detection equipment, alongside price adjustments and production cost reductions.

Performance across segments was positive: household gas detector sales grew 11.8%, industrial fixed gas detectors rose 7.7%, and portable commercial gas detectors increased by 5.4%. The company also noted that overseas sales accounted for 46.7% of total revenue.
