shin Sarugakyo boutique inn opens in Gunma Prefecture

A new single-story boutique inn, shin Sarugakyo, has opened in the Sarugakyo Onsen area of Minakami, Gunma Prefecture. The establishment features 13 unique guest rooms designed with a focus on simplicity and privacy, offering various layouts including traditional Japanese-style rooms and Japanese-Western hybrid suites.

The inn utilizes local weak alkaline hot spring water, characterized as “skin-beautifying water,” and provides facilities such as large public baths, open-air baths, and private reservable baths. Dining options focus on seasonal Gunma ingredients, including local specialties like Joshu beef, paired with regional sake.
