Shin Tae-yong leads Persija training in Thailand and youth development programs

Shin Tae-yong is overseeing Persija Jakarta's training camp and friendly matches in Thailand. During a friendly match against Police Tero at the Alpine Football Camp Training in Bangkok, Persija secured a 2-1 victory, with Rayhan Hannan scoring both goals. Tae-yong noted that the final score is less important than how players implement the tactics practiced during training, as he utilized different lineups for the first and second halves to give all players an opportunity to demonstrate their progress.

In a separate initiative, Tae-yong is participating in the CLEAR Men Ultra Squad Series documentary series to support youth football development. Following a digital competition that attracted over 300 applicants, 50 participants attended an intensive bootcamp in Jakarta. The program, involving the STY Academy, evaluated technical skills, mental resilience, and discipline. Ultimately, 11 top talents were awarded scholarships for a three-month intensive coaching and mentoring program designed to prepare them for professional football.
