Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama concludes in Jump SQ. September special, prompting reprint and CD supplement overhaul

The manga series "Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama" (New Prince of Tennis) reached its finale with chapter 477 in the September 2026 special issue of Shueisha's magazine Jump SQ., released on 4 August 2026. Anticipating strong demand, Shueisha announced a reprint of the issue on 3 August, with additional copies expected to reach stores from 26 August. The reprint also extended the deadline for a fan‑service application that provides a mini replica of the final chapter, now running until 30 September.

The September issue includes a first‑time CD supplement featuring a song written and performed by author Gō Yūki, with 143 participants from the anime and musical adaptations. Originally, the October issue was to contain a random "dual‑card" insert, but the publisher cancelled the random draw, opting instead to distribute four distinct cards across four consecutive issues.

To celebrate the series' conclusion, a nationwide quiz titled "Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama National Test" will be held on 23 September via the Jump NAVI app. Top scorers will receive tickets to Jump Festa 2027 and a special stage featuring Yūki. These initiatives underscore the series' 27‑year legacy and its broad media footprint in Japan.
