Shin-Tsunashima MICCA to open in Yokohama in October 2026

Tokyu Corporation has announced the grand opening of Shin-Tsunashima MICCA, a new commercial complex located in front of Shin-Tsunashima Station in Yokohama, Japan, scheduled for October 28, 2026.

The project, part of the ‘Ikeya Family Old Folk House Surrounding Real Estate Utilization Project’, focuses on preserving local history by integrating a designated historical building. The complex consists of three wooden structures: the ‘OMOYA’, a renovated traditional folk house that will serve as a bakery and bistro, and two new two-story wooden buildings named ‘HANARE North’ and ‘HANARE South’.

A total of 21 tenants are confirmed for the facility, including various restaurants, bakeries, a drugstore, a hair salon, and other service-oriented shops. To celebrate the opening, a ‘MICCA Festival’ is planned for November 3, 2026, featuring markets, outdoor movies, and workshops.
