Shin Ye Eun offered lead role in ‘Seorabeol Knife’ alongside Cha Eun Woo

Actress Shin Ye Eun has been offered the lead role of Princess Deokyeong in the upcoming tvN drama ‘Seorabeol Knife’. Her agency, NPIO Entertainment, confirmed they are currently reviewing the proposal.

If she accepts, Shin will star alongside Cha Eun Woo, who is in discussions to play Kim Jae Gyeom, a Michelin-starred Italian chef who is transported back in time to the Silla Kingdom. The drama, directed by Jang Tae Yu, is a culinary time-slip romance.

The casting news follows reports that Moon Ka Young declined the lead role, which had sparked anticipation for a reunion between Moon and Cha following their work in ‘True Beauty’. ‘Seorabeol Knife’ is expected to be a significant project for Cha Eun Woo following his military service completion.
