Shinagawa Prince Hotel and Coop Shizenha announce Christmas cake lineups

Various Japanese retailers and hotels have announced their 2026 Christmas cake lineups.

Shinagawa Prince Hotel has unveiled a collection of five cakes supervised by award-winning pastry chef Kazuya Osada. Under the theme ‘FUN! FARE’, the collection features poinsettia motifs. Notable offerings include the ‘Mori no Ongakutai’, a hybrid rare cheesecake and shortcake priced at 20,000 yen, and the ‘White Bear Symphony’, a limited edition cake for Seibu Prince Global Rewards members priced at 25,000 yen. Reservations for these items began in September.

Coop Shizenha is also offering a variety of seasonal cakes with an emphasis on organic and additive-free ingredients. Their lineup includes an organic chocolate cheesecake, an ice cake made with Hokkaido milk and domestic strawberries, and various options using domestic ingredients. The cooperative noted that they have adopted paper ornaments instead of plastic to support plastic reduction efforts.
