Shinagawa Prince Hotel to host themed Japanese afternoon tea
Shinagawa Prince Hotel has announced the third installment of its Japanese-style afternoon tea series, titled ‘Okota Atatakai Anmeguri’. Supervised by the Japan Anko Association, the event will be held at the Ajikaido Gojuusan-tsugi restaurant on the hotel's 38th floor from November 1, 2026, to January 10, 2027.
The theme of this installment is ‘巡る’ (巡る - to travel or circulate), inspired by the Tokaido Five Three Stations. The menu features seven varieties of colored bean paste (anko) representing different locations and seasons, such as chocolate bean paste from Nihonbashi, yuzu bean paste from Shinagawa, and cherry blossom bean paste from Kyoto.
Guests can choose from a standard plan or an upgraded version that includes a revival of the popular anko fondue. Additionally, the hotel is offering a limited ‘Okota Special Seat’ for two groups per day, featuring traditional kotatsu seating to provide a seasonal experience.
