Shinchosha to release ‘The Twelve Kingdoms’ series as e-books

Shinchosha has announced the digital release of Fuyumi Ono’s fantasy series, ‘The Twelve Kingdoms,’ which has sold over 14 million copies. The e-book rollout will occur in three phases starting September 17, 2026.

The first phase, beginning September 17, includes seven titles such as ‘Mazesho no Ko.’ The second phase is scheduled for October 15, 2026, and the third phase will begin on December 11, 2026.

Additionally, a new volume titled ‘Yumei no Kishi’ will be released nationwide on September 17, 2026, marking the first new entry in the series in seven years.
