Shinhan Bank expands financial services for Chinese Koreans in South Korea
Shinhan Bank has signed a business agreement with the Federation of Chinese Koreans to expand customized financial services for Chinese residents in South Korea. The partnership aims to improve financial accessibility by moving beyond simple account openings to include essential daily services such as payroll transfers and overseas remittances.
The collaboration will leverage Shinhan Bank’s specialized foreign customer infrastructure and the Federation’s nationwide network. Key initiatives include integrating the ‘Shinhan SOL Global’ mobile platform and web-based services, as well as conducting joint marketing through online and offline events tailored to the Chinese Korean community.
To support foreign residents, Shinhan Bank currently operates specialized branches in Ansan, Gimhae, and Doksan-dong. Additionally, the bank provides Sunday banking services at six locations, including branches in Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Gwangju, Suwon, and Seoul.
