Shinhan Donghae Open to be held in Incheon from September 10

The 42nd Shinhan Donghae Open, a premier professional golf tournament, will be held from September 10 to 13 at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Songdo, Incheon. Hosted by Shinhan Financial Group and co-organized by the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) and the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO), the event features 138 top-tier players, including 70 from the KPGA and 60 from the JGTO.

Competing for a total prize pool of 1.5 billion won, the tournament serves as a significant preview for the upcoming Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. Key participants include South Korean players Kim Sung-hyun and Moon Do-yeop, as well as defending champion Kazuki Higa from Japan. The event is expected to boost the local economy and enhance Incheon's city brand. As a special benefit, Incheon residents can receive a 50% discount on admission tickets when purchased on-site.
