Shinhan Securities accelerates AI transformation with new coordinator network

Shinhan Securities is accelerating its AI transformation (AX) by activating an execution organization consisting of 109 employees from its headquarters and sales sites. To drive this initiative, the company held ‘AX Champions Day’ to share successful use cases of AI agents and establish specific tasks for the second half of the year.

The company has appointed these 109 individuals as ‘AX Coordinators’ to identify, plan, and implement AI agent tasks within their respective departments. This network aims to expand AI utilization across the organization, following the establishment of the ‘AI Agent Department’, the first independent unit of its kind in the Korean financial sector. The goal is to transition into an ‘AI Native Company’ by focusing on practical work productivity and organizational culture changes rather than just technology adoption.
