Shining3D Technology unveils EinScan Trak wireless 3D scanning system

Shining3D Technology has introduced the EinScan Trak, a wireless 3D scanning and optical tracking system designed to handle objects ranging from large structures to small, intricate components.

The system features two primary configurations: Tracking Mode and Handheld Scanner Mode. In Tracking Mode, a spherical scanner works with an optical tracker to capture large objects like vehicles or boats within a tracking volume of up to 15 cubic meters. This mode uses retroreflective markers on the scanner itself, eliminating the need to attach markers directly to the object being measured. In Handheld Scanner Mode, the scanner can be detached and used independently to access narrow spaces, deep cavities, or small parts.

The device utilizes three blue laser modes: a 19+19 crossed-laser configuration for rapid large-area acquisition, a seven-parallel-line configuration for edges and contours, and a single-line laser mode. It offers a maximum resolution of 0.05mm and a scanning speed of up to 2.63 million points per second. The system is built to operate in environments with up to 110,000 lux of light and temperatures ranging from -10 to +40 degrees Celsius.
