Shinkansen power outlets tested for high-demand device charging

A technical test evaluated the performance of power outlets on the Shinkansen high-speed rail in Japan by attempting to charge multiple high-demand devices simultaneously. The test utilized an Anker Prime Power Bank, an Anker MagGo Power Bank, and an ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop.

The results demonstrated that the Shinkansen outlets provide sufficient power to support high-performance devices. Specifically, the outlets successfully powered the ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop and the Anker MagGo Power Bank.

While the Anker Prime Power Bank failed to charge its own internal battery while simultaneously powering the other two devices, the test concluded this was due to the inherent technical limitations of the power bank's specifications rather than a deficiency in the Shinkansen's electrical supply. The same result was observed when testing the same configuration in a home environment.
