Shirakami Meeting to host Hirosaki and Nishimeya session

The 12th Shirakami Meeting, specifically the Hirosaki and Nishimeya Session, is scheduled to take place on November 13 and 14, 2026. This annual workshop, held since 2019, serves as a platform for diverse individuals involved with the Shirakami-Sanchi area to share experiences and ideas to foster new connections.

Under the theme “Let’s all bring something positive,” the event will feature practical presentations, subcommittees, poster sessions, and consultation meetings. The program includes speakers such as Nao Kawashima from the Japan Environmental Education Forum and Koichi Murai from the Keep Association.
