Shirin David moved to tears during 'The Voice of Germany' battle

During a rehearsal for 'The Voice of Germany', coach Shirin David was moved to tears by a performance from contestants Aylin Basar and Diogo Rosa. The duo performed Billie Eilish’s 'What I Was Made For'.

The emotional impact was heightened by personal stories shared during rehearsals: Basar spoke about fulfilling her mother’s unachieved dream of becoming a singer, while Rosa expressed a desire to provide for his parents following their sacrifices.

Following the live performance, David praised the contestants for successfully bringing an 'intimate feeling' to the stage. Other coaches, including Nico Santos and guest coach Michael Schulte, also expressed high praise for the vocal quality and emotional depth of the battle.
