During a recent episode of The Voice of Germany, coach Shirin David praised a performance by three contestants coached by Nico Santos. The trio, consisting of Anthony Uyumaz, Leon Gerstner, and Darwin “Daris” Sanchez Pereyra, performed a rendition of “Beauty and a Beat” by Justin Bieber featuring Nicki Minaj.

Nico Santos, who nicknamed the group “The Boys of the Voice,” received praise from fellow coaches Smudo and Michi Beck for the choreographed dance and rap elements of the act. Shirin David commented on the group's appearance, jokingly telling Anthony Uyumaz to stop flirting with her during the performance.
