Shiv Sena leaders criticize Congress over Vande Mataram and political conduct

Shiv Sena leaders Sanjay Nirupam and Shaina NC have leveled several criticisms against the Congress party regarding nationalism and political conduct.

Sanjay Nirupam accused Congress of disrespecting the national song, Vande Mataram, following an event in Goa where only two stanzas were sung. He stated that Shiv Sena, as a nationalist organization, will begin all its programs with the full singing of Vande Mataram and suggested legal action against those who refuse to do so. Nirupam also commented on Maharashtra’s religious freedom law, noting its intent to prevent forced conversions through pressure or greed.

Shaina NC criticized Rahul Gandhi, labeling him a ‘leader of propaganda’ and accusing him of maintaining a double standard by remaining silent on issues in Jharkhand while protesting elsewhere. She also commented on various political matters, including the conduct of politics in Punjab during Independence Day celebrations and the legacy of Gopinath Munde.
