Shiv Sena leaders criticize Rahul Gandhi and defend party legal status

Shiv Sena spokespersons have issued sharp criticisms against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi following his recent remarks during the ‘Chhatron ki Goonj’ program in Indore. Shaina NC accused Gandhi of spreading “venom” and lies, specifically targeting his use of the term “andhbhakt” to describe supporters. She argued that the developmental progress and infrastructure under Prime Minister Narendra Modi are evident to the Indian population.

In a separate statement in New Delhi, Shiv Sena spokesperson Raju Waghmare defended the party’s legal standing regarding its name and election symbol. Waghmare asserted that the Election Commission’s decisions were made in accordance with the law and the Constitution, countering opposition claims that such decisions could not be made during pending disqualification proceedings. Waghmare also advised the Congress party to focus on its own internal issues rather than interfering in Shiv Sena’s legal affairs.
