Shiv Sena spokesperson Krishna Hegde demands police action over Sanjay Raut's threats

Shiv Sena spokesperson Krishna Hegde criticised fellow party leader Sanjay Raut for remarks that threatened legislators, saying the language amounted to calls for violence and urging the Mumbai police to intervene. Hegde also responded to the Enforcement Directorate’s raid on AAP leader and Punjab minister Sanjeev Aroda, noting the probe uncovered a ₹55 crore money‑laundering case that will be presented in court.

In the same interview Hegde praised the BJP‑led West Bengal government for its plans to implement the Uniform Civil Code nationwide and warned against sentiments favouring Pakistan, asserting that Indian law is made democratically and must be respected.

He called for accountability from both political rivals and members of his own party, demanding that any inflammatory statements be addressed through legal channels.
