Shiv Sena spokesperson Shaina NC defends government stance on CEC protests

Shiv Sena spokesperson Shaina NC has stated that the removal of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) is a matter to be addressed within Parliament rather than through street protests. Her comments come ahead of a planned protest by the INDIA bloc scheduled for October 12.

NC defended the government’s actions regarding law and order, noting that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is a legal process. She emphasized that while protests are permitted, the administration will take necessary steps to maintain order if unpermitted gatherings endanger public safety or cause significant inconvenience.

Addressing a recent protest by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in Delhi, NC maintained that no one is above the law and that the government’s stance is that protests cannot be held without prior permission. She clarified that recent actions taken were preventive measures rather than formal arrests.
