Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs Confirm Attendance, Reject Defection Rumors

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Bal Thackeray) leaders Aaditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut said that all nine party MPs took part in a meeting chaired by Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai, either in person or via video link, confirming their continued loyalty. Four MPs were present physically and five joined through video conferencing, as Raut noted: “Four MPs were physically present in the meeting, and five of our MPs participated in this meeting through video conferencing.”

The leaders dismissed speculation about an “Operation Tiger” aimed at poaching MPs to the rival faction led by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, describing the gathering as a routine organisational exercise and stating that defection claims are baseless.
