Shivhar: Man beaten to death by mob after meeting girlfriend

A young man named Lalan Kumar was killed by a mob in the Amba North ward of the Piparahi police station area in the Shivhar district of Bihar. The incident occurred around midnight when the victim reportedly went to meet his girlfriend.

According to local reports, a dispute arose regarding the romantic relationship, leading a group of people to attack the man with sticks and iron rods. The victim died at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.

Piparahi Police Station Chief Umakant Singh stated that the murder appears to be motivated by the romantic involvement. Police have taken the body for a post-mortem examination at the Sadar Hospital in Shivhar and have deployed a significant force to the area to maintain order and conduct investigations into those involved.
