Shivon Zilis announces breakup with Elon Musk
Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink and mother of four children with Elon Musk, has announced the end of her relationship with the tech entrepreneur. Zilis shared the news via a statement on the social media platform X, noting the difficulty of letting go of a relationship without warning.
The pair's relationship became public in 2021 following court filings regarding their twins, Strider and Azure. Since then, they have had two additional children: a daughter, Arcadia, born in February 2024, and a son, Seldon, born in early 2025.
Zilis, a Yale-educated professional with a background at IBM and OpenAI, expressed her intention to maintain a constructive co-parenting relationship with Musk. She described her children as the “beautiful little loves” of her life and emphasized her desire to remain on friendly terms.
