Shivon Zilis announces sudden breakup with Elon Musk
Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink, has announced the sudden end of her romantic relationship with Elon Musk. Zilis shared the news via a post on X, stating that the split occurred without warning, only a week after they had exchanged messages of affection.
Zilis, who has worked for Musk’s companies including Tesla and Neuralink, shares four children with Musk: twins Strider and Azure, born in 2021, a daughter named Arcadia, born in 2024, and a son named Seldon Lycurgus, born in 2025. In her statement, Zilis expressed that while she is hurting, she remains grateful for the family they created and hopes they can maintain a positive relationship as “great friends and co-parents.”
Zilis described their home as a “safe space” for Musk and noted that she had aimed to provide him with stability and calm. The announcement followed observations that Musk had stopped following her on the X platform. Musk has not issued an official statement regarding the separation.
