Shivpal Yadav accuses CEC Gyanesh Kumar of massive dishonesty

Samajwadi Party National General Secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav has accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of “massive dishonesty,” claiming the entire political opposition is united against him. Speaking at a district executive committee meeting in Etawah, Yadav asserted that the commissioner’s alleged misconduct would soon be exposed.

These allegations coincide with widespread protests by opposition parties and civil society organizations. Demonstrators in Mumbai and Delhi have staged rallies demanding Kumar’s removal, citing alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise conducted by the Election Commission.

In addition to the criticism of the Election Commission, Yadav announced that the Samajwadi Party has launched a month-long campaign to promote its policies ahead of upcoming elections. He expressed confidence that the party would form the government in 2027 under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav.
