Shizenjo Chaya offers limited Obon special menus in Seto

Shizenjo Chaya, a traditional gassho-zukuri style tea house located in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, has announced a limited-time special menu for the Obon holiday period from August 10 to August 15. The establishment will offer a total of 50 servings of its special menus, which feature natural mountain yam (jinenjo) as the primary ingredient.

Options include the 'Jinenjo Zanmai Gozen' for 2,520 yen, which includes jinenjo tororo, soba, barley rice, and a seaweed roll made with 100% jinenjo, as well as a more casual 'Jinenjo Soba Gozen' for 1,780 yen. The tea house aims to provide a healthy, nutritious dining experience for families gathering during the holiday season within its historic architectural setting.
