Shizuoka City and Warabi City Launch Summer Coupon Campaigns

Shizuoka City’s central Hitoshuku district will run the "Hitoshuku Gochi Coupon Festival" from 1 August to 31 August 2026. Shoppers who spend ¥1,000 at participating stores receive a ¥200 coupon usable at a different venue, with a total allocation of ¥1 million in coupons. The initiative aims to boost foot traffic and support local retailers during the summer.

Warabi City in Saitama Prefecture will begin issuing its "Orinasu Coupon" on 1 August 2026, running until 31 October. All registered residents receive ¥7,000 in coupons split between exclusive store coupons and a common coupon usable at larger retailers. A LINE‑based campaign offers a chance for 1,000 participants to win an additional ¥1,000 in coupons. The program is intended to mitigate rising living costs and revitalize the city’s economy.
