The technology allows for remote monitoring of nesting sites, addressing previous challenges where human patrols struggled with visibility during nighttime hours.

In Hamamatsu, local authorities have launched a government crowdfunding campaign to fund the construction of new protective fences for sea turtle eggs. These fences are essential for moving eggs to a controlled environment to prevent damage from human activity, wildlife, and environmental changes, ensuring a higher hatching success rate for the species.
