Shkendija eliminated from Conference League by Hibernian

Shkendija has been eliminated from the Conference League qualifiers following a 1-2 aggregate loss to Scottish side Hibernian. Despite a competitive performance in the second leg in Skopje, Shkendija was unable to overturn the 2-1 deficit established during the first leg in Edinburgh.

Shkendija coach Artim Polozhani expressed disappointment, noting that the team lacked clinical finishing and was hampered by the injury of striker Marko Gjorgjievski during official training. Polozhani also commented on the dry condition of the pitch in Skopje, which impacted the match.

With Shkendija's exit, Macedonia no longer has representatives in European competitions this season. The club now shifts its focus entirely to the domestic league, where their primary objective is to secure the championship title.
