Shkurte Fejza song ‘Mora fjalë’ removed from YouTube

The popular song ‘Mora fjalë’, performed by Shkurte Fejza and dedicated to Adem Jashari, has been removed from its original version on YouTube. The song has historically garnered tens of millions of views and is considered a significant cultural piece in Albanian music.

The removal is reportedly linked to the song’s author, Naim Gjoshin, who has previously expressed dissatisfaction regarding copyright and the use of his work. Gjoshin has claimed that despite being the creator, he has not benefited from the song’s widespread popularity. While the original version is no longer accessible, various videos of the song being performed at concerts and television studios remain on the platform. Neither Shkurte Fejza nor Naim Gjoshin has issued a public statement regarding the removal.
