Shoalhaven community events feature disability expo and arts festival

The Shoalhaven region is hosting several community-focused events, including the Shoalhaven Disability Expo and the EscapeARTfest.

The Shoalhaven Disability Expo, held at the Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre, featured over 90 exhibitors. The event provided a platform for people with disabilities, carers, and support workers to connect with NDIS providers and various services covering education, housing, and financial advice. Para surfer Grace Kennedy was among the notable attendees at the expo.

In Milton Ulladulla, the EscapeARTfest is scheduled to showcase local visual and performing artists. The festival includes events such as the Milton Gallery Walk, Meet the Makers, and Art in the Park. The Ulladulla Civic Centre will serve as a central hub for exhibitions, including the Shoalhaven Open Art Prize and various sculpture and postcard art competitions. New additions to this year's program include an outdoor sculpture exhibition at the Altar Bar.
