Shodoshima's Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village highlights autumn cosmos

The Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village on Shodoshima Island is highlighting its autumn attractions, featuring approximately 50,000 cosmos flowers expected to reach peak bloom in late October. The facility, which utilizes open sets from the film ‘Twenty-Four Eyes,’ offers visitors a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere with wooden school buildings and views of the Seto Inland Sea.

Visitors can access the village via a 10-minute ferry ride from the vicinity of the Shodoshima Olive Park, providing a faster alternative to the 35-minute drive. The site also features local culinary offerings, such as ‘Hishio-don,’ and will host the ‘Shodoshima Giga’ graphic art exhibition from October 10 to December 6.
