Shohei Ohtani may undergo left knee surgery after season
Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers is currently managing injuries to his left knee and right biceps, which have caused him to pause his pitching duties. While he continues to play as a designated hitter with minimal absences, reports suggest he may undergo a procedure on his left knee following the conclusion of the current season to reset his physical condition.
Ohtani has already received Orthovisc injections to alleviate pain during the All-Star break. Regarding his recovery as a pitcher, he has recently completed a 45-pitch bullpen session and is expected to move toward live batting practice before gradually increasing his workload in Major League games.
