Shoko Aida on FLASH magazine cover in first solo feature

Shoko Aida, the 56‑year‑old former member of the Japanese pop duo Wink, appears on the cover and lead gravure spread of the weekly magazine FLASH. The issue, released on July 28 and dated August 11, launches a new series titled “Beauty is linked. 艶のある人生,” produced by actress‑producer Kaori Oguri.

The feature marks the 38th anniversary of Wink’s debut and the 30th anniversary of Aida’s solo career, including interview remarks about her daughter and recent solo‑debut anniversary concert. Photographs by Hideaki Maeyama accompany the article.
