Shokz introduces OpenFit Air 2 lightweight open-ear headphones

Shokz has announced the OpenFit Air 2, an updated version of its open-ear earhook headphones designed for active lifestyles. The new model is significantly lighter than its predecessor, with each earbud weighing just 7.2 grams, representing a 17% reduction in weight.

The headphones feature a redesigned charging case that is 10.5% smaller and nearly 18% lighter than the previous generation. Technical specifications include Bluetooth 6.1 support with multipoint connectivity, the Bassphere™ driver, and the OpenBass™ 2.0 algorithm to provide immersive sound while maintaining environmental awareness.

Built for durability, the earbuds carry an IP55 rating for resistance against sweat, dust, and rain, while the charging case is rated IP54. The device offers up to 36 hours of battery life and utilizes AI-powered noise cancellation for the microphone. The OpenFit Air 2 is priced at 139 euros.
