Shokz launches OpenFit 2 AI headphones with integrated large model support

Shokz has officially launched its first AI-integrated open-ear headphone, the OpenFit 2 AI, during a media event in Shanghai. The product aims to transition from a simple audio device to an intelligent office assistant by focusing on “voice productivity.”

To power its core AI capabilities, Shokz has partnered with Alibaba Cloud’s Qwen large model. This collaboration enables high-accuracy features such as real-time transcription, meeting summaries, and translation across 30 languages and 19 dialects. The technology is specifically optimized for professional sectors like finance and law, with reported accuracy improvements in legal contexts reaching up to 60% for English scenarios.

Additionally, Shokz is collaborating with Guangfan Technology to introduce an “AI Lab” feature powered by Guangfan’s proprietary AI OS. This module will provide users with smart dialogue, schedule management, and intelligent messaging via an assistant named “Xiaofan.” The OpenFit 2 AI is scheduled for official sale on August 24, priced at 1,398 yuan.
