Shooting in Anápolis leaves one dead, another injured

On the morning of 19 June, two men were targeted in a drive‑by shooting on Rua Angélia in the Parque Brasília 2ª Etapa area of Anápolis, Brazil. The victims were inside a silver Volkswagen Gol when multiple shots struck the vehicle. One victim was hit in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other suffered leg injuries and was taken to a health unit by SAMU.

Police and specialized units responded, securing the scene and gathering witness video footage that circulated on social media. The assailants fled in another vehicle and remain at large. The case is being investigated by the local Police Civil, with the motive still unknown and no identities released for the victims or suspects.
